This website is operated by Wayne Myers, trading as Rifkin & Livesey, a sole trader commercial photography business based in Darwen, Lancashire. Wayne Myers is the data controller for any personal information collected through this website.

When you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive the details you choose to share, typically your name, contact details, your company and information about your project. We use this to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations and deliver photography services. The lawful basis for this is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract.

This website does not use a contact form, does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and does not require an account.

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how the website is used, for example which pages are visited. It is a cookie-free, privacy-friendly service: it does not use cookies or persist identifiers across visits, and we do not use it to identify individual visitors. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website.

The website is hosted by Vercel, whose infrastructure keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operational purposes.

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as it is needed to deal with the enquiry and any project that follows. Records relating to completed work are kept for as long as required for legitimate business, accounting and legal purposes.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with third parties for marketing. Information is shared only with service providers needed to run the business (for example email and website hosting), or where we are required to by law.

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you have rights over your personal information, including the right to access it, correct it, ask for it to be deleted and object to its use. To exercise any of these rights, email wayne@rifkinandlivesey.co.uk.
